Year 7 - 9

Middle School students are provided with a fun, safe and supportive environment in which to grow academically, emotionally, relationally and spiritually.

Learning in Middle School, can be challenging and rewarding!

Middle school marks not only the transition from Junior to High School, but also signals a new stage of growth of the mind, heart and soul - for every student. It's a time in their learning journey that is filled with discovery, new experiences and responsibilities.

At LCS, we want students to discover and know that their success in learning is measured in their progress, as well as by achievement. And above all, we want our students to know and experience what it is to have their learning valued.

In Year 7 and 8 students are involved in a wide range of subjects and in year 9, students are able to choose three options to add to their core subjects.

LCS provides a large range of optional subjects that include Design Graphics, Drama, Design Technology, Math Methods, Music, Advanced Science and Visual Art.

The camping program at LCS in the Middle school is very strong and supports the forming of positive relationships in each year group. Every year, our year 7 and 8’s go to Tasmanian venues and year 9’s have an exciting trip to Canberra.

Jesus said "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, all your mind and all your strength" (Mark 12:30).

Our deep hope at LCS is that your child will grow in this deep love, for God and those around them, as they engage in their journey of learning in Middle School.

Our Head of Middle School is Mr Rohan Kew
