Life With Us
Let's take some time to get know each other
I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Launceston Christian School!
Our school’s mission is to give parents a place to grow their children in a Christ-Centred, Biblically grounded education, while maintaining an engaging and academically rigorous curriculum from Kindergarten right through to Year 12.
Our school currently has just over 700 students and over 120 teachers and support staff, making us quite a large Christian community. We believe that our lives should be God centred, and our teachers and staff reflect these ideals as they support your children in their time here with us.
The Launceston Christian School was established in 1976 and is situated on the picturesque banks of the Tamar River nestled in the suburb of Riverside. Our beautiful campus has extensive grounds, exceptional facilities and a significant amount of space for students to thrive, learn and grow.
The single campus K-12 school provides a streamlined experience for your child to begin their learning, strengthen and develop their character through the years and then prepare them for their life beyond school. This also gives our teachers a unique opportunity to get to know your children in a way that provides years of consistent care and ongoing support in order to champion them into their future aspirations. The Launceston Christian School knows that not every child will end up on the same path once they finish Year 12, so our aim is to help all students make decisions based on their individual skill set and personality that will empower them as they move forward.
I would encourage you to explore the benefits of the distinctly Christian education that is offered at the Launceston Christian School by reading our website or even booking a tour with our friendly staff.
Your child’s journey is incredibly important to us, and I look forward to meeting them and helping them to grow as they discover their talents, develop their knowledge and mature in their understanding of God’s ultimate plan for their lives.
Mr Stuart Kent
Principal
